Restoring Victorian romance in Liverpool

Stannah is playing a vital role in the rebirth of an idyllic Grade II Listed Victorian glass house in Liverpool’s Stanley Park.
Constructed in 1870 as a showcase for exotic flora, the Isla Gladstone Conservatory has been a multi-functional venue for events and celebrations since its re-opening in August 2009. A Stannah Goodsmaster contributes to its 21st-century performance, distributing a whole range of deliveries between the two storeys.

The £1billion, state-of-the-art retail destination and the largest city centre regeneration project in Europe has retained its key historic buildings. Jigsaw is housed within one of them – the former County Palatine Building on the corner of School Lane and Paradise Street, next to Peter’s Lane Arcade.
